Derek Hale is the face of the Ferrari racing team, known for his fierce and ruthless driving style, as well as his cold and distant attitude towards the media and other drivers. No one likes Derek Hale but everyone must acknowledge that he’s a force to be reckoned with.
Stiles Stilinski is the new face on the circuit, racing for Toro Rosso, but everyone recognizes that he’s a natural talent behind the wheel of a F1 car. He’s fast and cunning and not to be underestimated.
Things heat up between the two drivers when Stiles makes a rookie mistake and collides with Derek’s car, ending a race for the both of them. It’s a bad start for the season and Stiles is more than disappointed with himself. It doesn’t help that Derek is absolutely livid and hellbent on trying to make Stiles feel as bad as possible even after he apologized.
Stiles refuses to let the more experienced driver walk all over him just because he’s new, which leads to escalation of their conflict. Derek can’t help but admire the guts the new kid has as he lets Derek know in vivid detail just where he can shove his attitude. Before they know, their arguments and banter turn into something they both actually enjoy, and eventually a heated quarrel leads to Stiles pushed up against a wall with Derek’s insistent tongue in his mouth.
The arguments interspersed with make-outs and sex soon become a habit as they sneak around in motor homes trying to keep this all a secret. But sooner or later they will have to face the fact that what used to be just sex, developed into something much more, something they’re not sure they are ready to admit.
